Disney on Ice!

We all went to Disney on Ice on Saturday and had a wonderful time. We sat on the ice so we were a little nervous that Emmary would be afraid of how close the characters came but she did great! She loved them and would wave and shake hands with them. However, she did hold onto Gordon the whole time. Ellie loved it also- she would get so excited and shriek and jump. She loved all the clapping and clapped just about the whole show! Emmary's favorite was the Little Mermaid and the Tinkerbell parts. Ellie's favorite was Cars and Little Mermaid.

Time for Bed!

We try to stick to a pretty routine bedtime for the girls. The other night we were finishing up and said, "Okay, it is night-night time! Time to go to bed!" And Ellie, as fast as she could, climed into Emmary's bed, pulled up the cover, laid down and put her head under the pillow. Just like Emmary. She was not happy when she had to lay down in her bed.

Shorts

The other day Emmary was getting dressed in her room and put on a pair of shorts. She came and found me in the kitchen and asked, "Mommy, do you know why I put on these shorts?" I was sure that it was some kind of big story or imaginative reason, so I said no and asked why she had those shorts on. She looked at me like I was crazy and said, "To cover up my panties, Mommy!!!" Then she left to put on her shirt.

Zoo

We went to the zoo the other week with Weekday and had a wonderful time! Emmary was so excited about seeing the penguins and the flamingos. They were all she wanted to see the whole visit. Ellie's favorite was the ostrich because they were very close to the wall. She wanted to get out of the stroller the whole time but it was too crowded.
